That was an interesting way to wake up... Anyone else felt it?

I was in Østerbro, Copenhagen, Denmark when it occured (around 65'ish kilometers from the epicenter). It felt like the whole apartment shifted a centimeter or two.

I noticed that you, in the download section, wrote:

If there is an earthquake in your area, please let us know if you felt it.

Since we had a quite interesting quake this morning (4.7 Richter at 6.20ish in Copenhagen, Denmark) which could be felt, I was very eager to write an 'eyewitness report' to you. I just didn't know who to write to...

How about making an easy web form for reporting quakes? Something in the line of:

Date:
Time:
Location (coords or address):
Estimated size of quake: (with link to how the Richter scale corresponds to what can be felt):
Eyewitness report (what you felt/saw):

Maybe it could just be done as a thread/subject in the forums?

Just a suggestion :)

PS: As a physics teacher, I used the rest of the day talking about quakes, Richter and what the kids felt in all my classes... Great fun!

I get the following warning when viewing "My QCN" (my account information). Is it something I have done? Is it 'normal' or am I the only one with this problem? Are there any solutions?

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/boinc/qcnalpha/html/user/temp_top.php:6) in /var/www/boinc/qcnalpha/html/inc/util.inc on line 49
