I have added support for the Phidget 1056 USB accelerometer for Windows and Mac with QCN. You need to install their Mac kernel driver for Mac OS X, but no driver is required for Windows. I hope to have support for Linux soon. http://www.phidgets.com/products.php?product_id=1056

Hi Carl,

Do you know how the Phidget 1056 compares to the O Navi-B and other sensors, as far as quality of signal, noise, etc? I'd like to get the best one I can to use instead of my Mac's SMS.

I noticed on their website that the 1056 is being replaced by the 1044, any idea if QCN will work with this new version -- or if there's any point to using it versus the 1056?

Thanks!
