A M3.9 earthquake struck Orange, County California today, April 21, 2012. The earthquake was felt throughout much of the Los Angeles basin region and was recorded by several QCN sensors in the area. There were not enough QCN sensors in the region to automatically detect the event, but these data contribute to data collected by the regional seismic networks.
If you are in southern California and interested in joining QCN be sure to sign up for our regional arrays program here.
